yes! once and for all, i declare HOLIDAYS! woohoo... gone are the psyche and stats and all the disgusting computer concepts.
after stats paper, janell, alex,val, QH, serene,zyndie, jesslyn and me went to a shopping mall (i forgot the name) to makan and shop. we went to have lunch at pasta mania and were all geared up for shopping spree after lunch. oh i remembered. the shopping mall is parkway.
all of them are a bunch of nice people who continue to surprise me with birthday gifts even though my birthday was long over. below are the continued list of thanks from the previous post... jesslyn, QH and kenneath: thank you for the handmade birthday card and the nice chocolate! the bear look so adorable carrying the bunch of flowers and chocolate! serene: you surprised me with the blue bangle which i had just randomly commented as nice-looking. it was a pleasant surprise! i love the red chocolate heart as well! i will buy you white diamonds next time! haha!!! janell and alex: the both of you disappeared to buy birthday pressie for val and i! it was chocolate cookies from famous amos! the smell was heavenly when we strode across it earlier. serene and i did an exaggerated inhale together. it was not planned and our large inhale lasted for the same time! we then burst into uncontrollable laughters! i was shocked when you guys came back with a bag of cookies for me. all: you guys are the cutest bunch of school friends ever! i cant wait to go to alex house to bake cookies with all of you guys! counting down to that day!
after combing the whole of parkway mall, we then went in different directions. everybody seems very tired after the whole lot of shopping. serene and i boarded the sam bus home. halfway through the journey, we decided to continue shopping at bugis street! big highlights, serene never been to bugis street before! haha!! so i decided to bring her down and let her have a feel of what bugis street was about.
it was supposed to be only window shopping. the purpose was clear. all until, i saw a bring orange and yellow skirt. i was awed by the perfect combination of colour and i bought it almost instantly! i have no idea why, but i seems to have a preference over long skirt and flowery design. hmm... hope this is not menopause.
without realising it, i was infected with the shopping virus. i went on to buy a white top and 3 earrings. out of the 3 earrings, two were flowers but in different colours. i bought a hanging butterfly earring as well. i am glad that serene enjoyed herself that day, she bought earrings and lots of other accessories as usual(: thanks for the storybook you lent me babe! (:
shopping is not a wise choice without hui's around. she will be there to stop me whenever appropriate. hui! i have to shop with you one day! jia! i saw a beautiful hat! i almost bought it! i got to show you the design one day!

cleaning the house is such a joy. i enjoy the pervertic feeling of throwing things away. HAHA! my room seems much neater and cleaner now! (: i hesitated in throwing all the notes away. i am still contemplating whether i should retake any papers. anyway, i rather be safe than sorry. i chunked them all in the most remotest part of the house! the storeroom!! hopefully, mummy wont notice!
