believe it a not. botanic garden is a nice place to hang out! i remembered being all grumpy when my primary school teachers bought us there. i used to hate the long walk under the scorching sun. the worst thing about such excursions organised by school was.... the worksheets we were given! imagine walking under the unbearable heat, prickling my ears to figure out what the teacher was trying to explain and scribbling words on the worksheets given. however, the most recent trip there proved otherwise. if you want to escape the hussle buzzle of city life, botanic garden is definitely a wise choice!
2 more days to go till the end of work part 1! awesome! after that, it will be time for me to chill out with all my closest friends before work part 2 starts! working life is so so boring! everyday is a meaningless routine. i believe if i were to work any longer for work part1, i will lose all my smiles. 2 more days to go... 2 more days to go.... ( repeat 5 times)
are soya bean milk products of china? i couldnt bear not drinking it): people take note of all the food products you are consuming, in case they are the "poisoned" products from china. double check your ingredient list and the place the food was manufactured from. this news is creating ripples of uncertainty and unrest to china's economy.
i hate to admit this but i realised there seems to be a large portion of people in singapore who disliked people from china. i have nothing against people from china, instead i treat them with respect. they are really capable and hardworking people. is it jealousy that make them (those who dislike china people) forget the very basic principle of life, which is, ultimately we are all the same? we are all human, only with the difference of skin colour and living conditions. stripped away all these and we are the same. long ago, we may have lived in the same cave before.
i am patriotic and here's the national pledge.
we, the citizens of singapore. pledge ourselves as one united people. regardless of race, language or religion. to build a democratic society. based on justice and equality. so as to acheive happiness, prosperity and progress for our nation.
haha. okay. i have no idea why i am on this issue. but those above are only my own personal views and thoughts. i am munching on chocolates and drinking mummy's speciality- barley at the same time. its a little contradicting.
